On-Site Tracks
1)Indoor Dirt Oval - we have an
indoor dirt oval that we run twice a week from October til April. Race
events are tentatively Wednesday and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm. Run
line is 80 feet.
Classes run indoors are Electric Truck, Electric EDM, and 18 T Trucks.
Specials are held monthly on sundays and sometimes includes Sprint Cars and Late Models.
2)Outdoor Dirt Off Road- We are 90% complete with our outdoor off road
track. Track measures 110 feet wide by 165 feet long .The runing line
is about 800 feet. It has 135 feet of back straightaway for some
serious speed. Drivers stand is a 40 foot platform that is 8 feet high.
Hope to have completed in early October and have a couple special
races. It is open now for practice.
3) Outdoor Dirt Oval- Looks like this track will not be completed til
spring of 2006. We have been behind in completing this track. Walls are
cut out and need to be fastened together. Clay is sitting on a bank
next to the track. Lighting is all ready done .We have two 30 foot
telephone poles with 3 street lights off each one. Its going to be real
cool when completed. Track will be 85 feet long and 45 feet wide.
Infield will be 25 feet wide. Running line should be about 185 to 200
feet in length.
Off-Site Tracks
1) New York State Fairgrounds,
Syracuse. We race weekly on Tuesday night during the summer at the
quarter midget track at the New York State Fairgrounds. The track is a
500 foot oval. Yes, 500 feet of fast fun! Straightaways are 145 feet
long.
Speeds on the Modified EDM's have reached 39.995 MPH average. Lap times
are under 9 seconds. Thats over 46 MPH on the straightaways. Stock
Trucks average around 11 second laps for an average of about 32 MPH.
The season ends with a big event during Super Dirt Week. It is either a
Wednesday or Thursday night during the first week in October.
